Webinar – International Day for Disaster Reduction

A free one-hour webinar on the 13th October 2017 in support of the International Day for Disaster Reduction. This will look at the importance of disaster relief and shelter following major natural hazards.

QSAND is a framework for rebuilding sustainably following a natural disaster that can be applied all around the world. For the International Day for Disaster Reduction (IDDR), the QSAND team will be hosting a free webinar that will explore the practical examples and strategic tools for embedding sustainability and resilience in disaster prone / affected communities.

The IDDR 2017 event was set up by the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction and will be an international event to raise awareness and to “promote a global culture of risk-awareness and disaster reduction”.
